My Philosophy
As a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach, I have an understanding that trauma is painful because I, too, have walked the path of trauma recovery.
Certified Trauma Recovery Coaches (CTRC's) believe that no one knows the trauma survivor's needs as well as the trauma survivor their/her/him self. Therefore, it is our highest aspiration to provide safety, accountability, truth, attunement, authenticity, compassion, and unwavering support to our clients. We believe that every trauma survivor is deserving of a safe space in which to receive client-led care with voice and choice.
Every trauma survivor has the potential to heal and recover, so that they may live a life they love to live, free of the constraints of their trauma.
My Experience
I earned my Certified Trauma Recovery Coach credentials through the International Association of Trauma Recovery Coaches (IAOTRC) in 2023. I have experience in traumas such as narcissistic abuse, betrayal trauma, interpersonal trauma, environmental trauma, medical trauma, shock trauma, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, loss of life roles, spiritual abuse, attachment trauma, developmental trauma, sexual abuse, smear campaigns and parental alienation.
Traumatic experiences can happen an infinite number of ways. Some of us experience only one, such as with PTSD. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) Some of us have repetitive and ongoing traumatic experiences, as with CPTSD. (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ) I have experience working with various traumas and I never believe that anyone's PTSD or CPTSD is so severe that it cannot be healed. Every human being has the power to heal when someone with knowledge and experience listens while holding heart space.
Certified trauma recovery coaches support their clients with no pre-conceived outcomes in mind, because creativity, choice, compassion, curiosity, calmness, clarity and confidence are already within the survivor. Connection to self and others while establishing a new connection to these ideals of self leadership are supported and fostered in a peer-to-peer relationship of co-equal participants. Coaches celebrate wins with their clients and offer every tool and resource at their disposal as the client- the trauma survivor- breaks the chains of their trauma and trauma pain.
My Services
*** Before you book a session with me, please be aware of the following: Certified Trauma Recovery Coaches may not work with anyone under the age of 18, any individual who is in active chemical addiction, any individual who is experiencing active suicidality, groups, couples, or any individual who is actively self harming. This is according to safety guidelines and practice standards, and the only exception to these notifications would be for Coaches who are already credentialed as mental health or medical professionals and are licensed to provide such patient or client care.
I offer one-on-one coaching sessions through Zoom or in person. I recognize that building trust in a confidential and safe environment is essential for survivors to heal. I offer trauma recovery coaching according to the practice standards, code of ethics, and the guiding principles of the International Association of Trauma Recovery Coaches. (IAOTRC) My practice offers initial clients (4) individual (1 hour each) sessions to complete the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd intake protocols in a way that is designed to avoid overwhelming the client. This means that it is completed over the course of 3 separate sessions, and the 4th (1-hour )session is the first session of actual trauma recovery coaching. In very complex trauma situations, the 4th session may be used to complete the initial protocols. The initial protocol session sequence is required for all new clients, as it is designed with client safety as the utmost priority. It is the platform on which the coaching process is built. It was designed and created by the trauma coaching experts at the International Association of Trauma Recovery Coaches. (IAOTRC)
After the required initial 4-part ( 1 hour each) coaching protocols are completed, my clients are welcome to schedule individual coaching sessions for the purpose of continued work on their trauma healing path, as often as they prefer. These sessions are 1 hour 20 minutes in length. This is specifically designed to utilize one hour for trauma recovery work, and 20 minutes to co-regulate the client's nervous system to ensure that the client is completing the session in a state of safety and calmness.
There is no set template for healing, as every individual knows their own needs best, and clients are the sole decider of when they have met their own recovery goals.
Certified trauma recovery coaches operate from a standpoint of transparency, authenticity and trust. We believe the survivor. We offer every tool at our disposal to safely support our client as they walk their own path to recovery. This is always done through the client's view of what would make their life a life they love to live.
Please note that every client will receive a copy of my Policies and Procedures so that all clients have a clear understanding of my, and their, responsibilities in the coaching relationship. All coaching sessions must be paid in full before the session can be scheduled, and all clients must sign and return a copy of my Policies and Procedures before coaching sessions may begin.
I offer a 20-minute one time discovery call for all perspective clients to learn about the trauma recovery coaching process, and what a coaching relationship involves. I would be happy to meet with you on Zoom to answer your questions.

I would love to work with you to help you to heal the pain that trauma has left within you. Trauma affects us relationally, biologically, emotionally, and psychologically. The best way to heal our trauma is by learning exactly how our mind, body, and spirit have responded to the things that we have survived. Trauma recovery is a work in progress, and we can learn to listen to our body, our emotions, and our mind to formulate the best self-care we have ever experienced.
